Volunteer at our shelters/fund raisers

- Volunteers are welcome at shelters as there is so much to do. Some of the activities volunteers may help us with is cleaning, bathing of the dogs, giving vitamins , brushing of shelter pets or just talking and petting the shelter pets.

- The animals at the shelters love human attention and truly benefit from the time spent with them. Without the assistance of our volunteers, we would be unable to accomplish our goals. By volunteering you can meet new people with similar interests, have the personal satisfaction of being part of community service and supporting a cause you believe in.

- Each volunteer would be accompanied and guided by a Committee member of AWPA, until the shelter pets get used to you.
